Challenge

A new, modern design using existing UI kit, organizing and improving menu navigation and a ordering gift cards solution.

Berg Hansen, Norway's largest travel agency, needed a modern, well-organized website where users could easily find the necessary information. They wanted job travel and event organization to be more visible than before. The company had an entire UI kit based on Google Material Design and wanted me to use it to create a new website design. Additionally, they needed a flexible system for ordering gift cards, enabling them to order various cards with different designs simultaneously.

Solution

A minimalist layout, focused on the organization's business goals, a new menu structure with grouped content, a user-friendly system for ordering gift cards.

After understanding client's business goals and analyzing traffic on the old website, I created a new, orderly layout that clearly communicates the types of services offered by the travel company. In cooperation with the client's team, I built a new, better-organized menu structure, added a customer reviews section and based on Google Analytics, placed sections with the most desired content in prominent locations. I built the entire website using a UI kit provided by the client's UX designer.

In addition to the new website layout, I designed a simple gift card ordering system. It provides the opportunity to order several different gift cards, choose various delivery methods, and select diverse designs and content. Moreover, offer the opportunity to check the value of the received gift card.
