Challenge

Easy to use tool that calculates costs, helps with the choice for client, saves time and speeds up work of sales representatives.

Corvus Energy is a company that provides purpose-engineered energy storage solutions and hydrogen fuel cell systems for the ocean space. My task was to design a user-friendly, browser-based web application that would assist the customer in selecting the appropriate number of battery cells and choosing the right product for their needs. This involves considering factors such as the size of the battery room, weight, footprint, and facilitating seamless communication with the sales representative to obtain a quote. The interface was to be consistent with the company's brand guidelines.

Solution

User-friendly interface facilitating the selection of the right product, admin view providing an overview of projects, facilitating communication with the client.

After familiarizing myself with the technical data needed to determine the number of battery cells, I grouped the content into categories and logical order. Then, I designed a simple interface that allows the customer to decide which product will be most appropriate for them and obtain a precise quote.

After publishing the solution, we conducted several optimizations, including modifying old interface sections and implementing new ones. These changes were prompted by the introduction of new products or the adaptation to new business needs. Over time, we also added several new functionalities dictated by feedback from users.
