ClawRock is a software house specializing in e-commerce. They desired a website that would effectively showcase their extensive industry experience and exceptional skills in an engaging manner. The company had a logo, established a preliminary color palette, created initial sketches, and designed a signature illustration. My responsibility was to create a clear and user-friendly website structure, while ensuring that the interface seamlessly integrated with the style of the signature illustration. Additionally, I was tasked with refining the color palette, selecting an appropriate font, and establishing the overall style for the entire website.
Structure: Given the unconventional nature of the website's theme, I decide to implement a fixed side categories menu . Recognizing that the company's core value lies in their highly experienced team and profound technological expertise, the homepage was meticulously crafted to showcase the company, its talented team, and the range of technologies they specialize in.
User Interface: Drawing inspiration from the distinctive brand illustration, a design aesthetic reminiscent of prehistoric times was adopted. Instead of relying on photographs, the use of simple icons in the menu was employed, seamlessly aligning with the overall style. Furthermore, on the subpages, meticulous attention was given to creating illustrations that harmoniously complement the main page's signature artwork, ensuring a cohesive narrative throughout. As a continuity of the website I created vector-based plant motifs wchitch thoughtfully integrated as section dividers.
